As Allah Almighty said:

How Du’a should be Approached

Dua is one of the greatest good acts of worship that a Muslim performs in the month of Ramadan and at other times, and before we prepare the Ramadan du’a list, we must touch on the etiquette of supplication:

  • Purification is desirable during dua, as supplication is an address and monologue between the servant and his Lord.
  • It is desirable to pray at the time of prostration.
  • Supplication during fasting and before breaking the fast.

  • Oh, Allah, I ask you for wellness in this world and the hereafter, may Allah ask you for forgiveness and wellness in my debt and my world, and my family and my money, may Allah bless me and believe in my own, and from me, O Allah, protect me from in front of me, from behind me, from my right, from my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your greatness from being slain from below.

  • (O Living, O Ever-Sustaining, by Your Mercy, I seek help, rectify all my affairs for me, and do not leave me to myself for the blink of an eye.)
